WOW!!!!! That is about all I can say about Kidsong World. It was an unbelievable week!!!! So many kids impacted and lives changed!! It was a complete honour and privilege to serve our kids and watch God do BIG things in their lives.
This year was our first year with the Voltage age group and it went off the chain!!! Hundreds of pre-teens gathering and being molded by God, it was unforgettable and there are so many testimonies to go with the week. I am going to share one of the stories before i close this message…
I quickly want to give a shout out for every volunteer who passionately served the church and made conference the success that it was!!! Everyone who served in Voltage THANK YOU!!!!! you are amazing and the kids will never forget what you did in their lives!!! I want to give a personal shout out to… Kat, Tiago, Matt, Mel, Madison, Joe, JB, Andy, and most importantly Hannah, Thanks for all you guys did and without you I dont know what would have happened, you guys are amazing and have a big future!!!
….Well its about time for a story… there are soooo many to tell, but this one that I am going to share is especially touching because it connects with my heart and is the reason I do what I do… There is a girl in the city campus who brought her friend to Voltage for conference and she was not a Christian. The first night they walked in and my friend… lets call her…. Sandra???…. Sandra walked in with her friend from school and went to our table where we have our ask God and thank you Gods, Well Sandra asked her friend if she wanted to fill one out and she said no, well they moved on and continued into the program…. That night Nathan was preaching, and Sandra’s friend got saved!!! This was the first night and boom!! Well later on that night Sandra’s friend went up to the ask God and thank you God table and wrote some prayer requests for her family to get saved and her Dad to get healed, and it was amazing!!!!! That is why I do what I do!!!! Sandra brought her friend and because that step of faith and courage to ask her friend to come, her friend got saved and now her family will be changed and I can’t wait to hear more about that!!!!
