Well….. It sure has been a long time since I have posted. Let me catch you up to speed on where I am. We recorded our 5th live worship album for kids called “Follow You”, We had an event for kids only which had a massive turnout of a couple thousand kids, I graduated from Bible college…. and thats about all you need to know for now. I was consumed with college and church life and work that I honestly had to remind myself to breathe!!! I thought I would talk for just a second about CHANGE.
Change is just one of those things that most of us don’t like. We would rather hangout with our inlaws than think about change, and that’s just thinking about change, not even change itself. I always say “do change before change does you”. I really believe that, and every now and then we need to recreate ourselves. Robert Fergusson was talking in a staff meeting once about how every few years he reinvents himself. Not that he likes change, but he knows he needs to embrace it and change. Its that time of the year, just before New Years where people will start to make plans to change. Whether it is losing 10 pounds, or not eating chocolate ( who can go without chocolate???). There is a lot of power in change and I believe it is imparitive for all of us to embrace change before we get left behind. It doesn’t have to be anything massive, but just tweeking some things whether it’s in your ministry or your personal life. Jump on the bangwagon and mix it up a little bit. I am going through a lot of change right now and I don’t like it, but I know change is good and I am going to reinvent myself through this whole process and come out on top so change does not do me.
