I have been reflecting on my leadership journey over the last few days and looking at where I was and where I am now…. I was looking at how I lead people and how I was lead. There was one thing in my mind that I think is at the core of every follower…. We just want to be appreciated…..I don’t need to be recognized and brought up on a stage and get an applause, it’s not about that….it’s letting the people you lead know that they are valued and loved. This has absolutely nothing to do with performance. It does not matter if they just developing in leadership or they are the bees knees, they deserve appreciation!!!! I looked at the core of me and thats all I want and I want to make sure I give that to the people I lead….
Now with that comes another thing….I think you need to know the love language of the people you lead….. Thank you is not enough, cliche phrases just don’t cut it….you need to speak to the people you lead in a way that they will catch what you are giving….and I think, as leaders, we owe it to them….Lets hoodia 750 mg be people who value and appreciate the people who are in this journey with us….
