Hello everyone!!!! well i know its been a while (I wonder how many times I have written that????) n e way…. I am now living in Brisbane for a little bit, and WOW i love the weather!!!! I am hanging out at Hillsong Brisbane for a few weeks and helping out in Hillsong Kids…. I thought I would just share for a moment about what’s in my head right…..now….

Since Brisbane is very new is diflucan generic too me my perspective is very fresh and it’s great to see things in a new light and how we can move things forward. I flew up to a new city and found a new perspective, but you don’t have to leave where you are to get it… you can just ask for it… believe that God always wants to show us news things in a new way and all we have to do it tap into that… I spent the first 20 minutes of my day at the office just looking at where we run our primary service and getting ideas of how we can make the staging look better and add to the program more than it ever has…. I believe that if you ask, you will recieve… I’m sure that you will too… and remember its for the better and God wants to take us from Glory to Glory and strength to strength… We should always be progressing and moving the kingdom forward!!!

I love traveling, and I love seeing new things, I don’t even ming flying for many hours at a time… There’s just something about traveling that gets me amped up. I am very excited for my trip which is happening in 2010 and my point of exploration is going to be Europe!!!! Now… personally I love to give, I love being generous… I like blessing people and making their day… its amazing what it can do to someone’s day, just a little random act of kindness… I will go as far to say that people who don’t prepare are probably not generous, or givers. There is no preparation to receiving, you just take as it comes around.

You can get biblical and talk about how it’s better to give than to receive…or you could look at sports (as most men do)… Ask a boxer if it’s better to give punches or to take punches… I know his answer… but let me tell you that you need to prepare if you want to end up on top and be the giver…

In our lives everyday holds opportunity.. we can take them or pass them, but we need to be prepared if we are going to be givers, however that looks… putting a few extra dollars on your card when you go to the cafe, thinking of someone you can take to lunch, or strategically having change in your pocket to give to someone who needs it more than you… whatever the case giving takes preparation… being generous takes preparation

Well… as everyone in the world is talking about the Kanye and Taylor swift moment from the other night, i guess I will throw my 2 cents in….

I respect both as artists and they are both talented… as most people know I think Taylor is one of the best song writers around, and I rank her highly so I take offense when someone offends her, so I do not agree with the approach Kanye took to express his love for Beyonce and taking away her big moment in front of many fans… On the other hand, Kanye might just be a genious… everyone is talking about this moment and, in all honesty, there is no such thing as bad publicity… it does not matter what people say about you because they are talking about you.

This weekend I tried my best to follow around one of our amazing children’s pastors to learn everything I possibly could off her. Now you might think that’s a bit extreme, thinking you can actually learn so much off someone in one weekend, but in all actuallity I learned a lot which and be summed up in this… never stop learning.

I want to be the best me possible and in order to do that I need to keep strectching myself and learning from people who are my leaders and have gone before me. I followed around Beci Wakerley this weekend to find out what she does, and what she looks for on the weekends. indocin online international It probably would have been easier to look at what she doesn’t do, but I asked the opposite.

What I learned was, really, you can’t stop learning… You always needing to be looking on how to improve things, how to get rid of obstacles, how to put better systems in place, and how to problem solve. You need to be able to see strengths and weaknesses and how to approach that.

I was following what she does, but under all that I was trying to figure out she thinks.

For me… I have been doing children’s ministry for about…. 5 years now, and as much as I know, and as much as I think I know, I need to know that I don’t know everything and there is so much more to do and make better, and once you think you are there you reinvent it.

It was a fantastic weekend and I could not ask for better people to learn from

I am a fan of creativity and how things that were not come to be things that are. I remember once my friend was prophesied over and it was all about how he has a lot of creative ideas, but only 1 or 2 of them may be great. It was kind of a funny prophesy, but we all understood it because we know him well and we know how he thinks. The point of this is that we all are creative because we are made in the image of a creative creator. Not all of our ideas that pass through our cerebellum are going to be great, but that does not mean we should stop thinking and dreaming. We may not hit a homerun everytime we step up to bat, but we don’t even have the chance if we don’t swing at all.

Keep those creative juices flowing and workshop ideas with people who you work well with… you never know when your idea might hit it out of the park!!!

well its been a few weeks since my last update and I have some updates on a few things…

Yesterday was my birthday and I turned the young and awesome 26… I rung in the new year with one of my best mates Tiago with a 1/2 pound steak at Hurricanes in Darling Harbour… It was a fantastic night with some great food….
